Baskervillen koira kuuluu maailman kuuluisimman salapoliisin tunnetuimpiin tutkimuksiin. Sherlock Holmes matkustaa yhdessä kumppaninsa tohtori Watsonin kanssa Englannin maaseudulle loputtomien nummien keskelle ratkaisemaan outoja kuolemantapauksia. Kaikkiin näyttää liittyvän salaperäinen ja suorastaan kammottava peto, koira suoraan tuonpuoleisesta.
